The weekend:

Your week will commence when you arrive in Phnom Penh, [we recommend arriving on a Saturday]. You will be collected at the airport by one of our friendly English speaking staff and taken to your hotel. You will be provided with a full itinerary and a time will be organised for your orientation tour of the city.

Sunday can be spent exploring the city and experiencing the Cambodian culture. Popular activities include browsing the markets, attending Cambodian cooking courses, bike-riding tours or visiting the popular historical and cultural sites in and around the city.

Monday-Friday:

You will be working with us from Monday to Friday however you will still have a lot of free time to and experience the city and the Cambodian culture.

Each day you will be driven to and from the hotel to one of our schools in a tuk tuk by our project co-ordinator and introduced to the teachers you will be working with.

A typical volunteer day would follow one or two alternatives depending on our school timetables at each community. Work and hours is dependent on the school and location that the volunteer is participating in.
